I love spending time with my children, but now that school is back in session we’re spending less time doing cool, fun stuff and more time doing homework and preparing for school the following day. Which I know, it’s important, but BLAH!

I want to spend as much time with my children as possible, so I get as creative as possible with our time together. Of course, this means we spend time cooking together almost every night.

My kids are still too young to help too much with dinner, so we try to make breakfast, lunch, and even after school snacks together in the evenings after homework is finished. It’s a great reward for the girls, and I admit I love it too, it’s a win-win situation for us all. Plus, we come up with some pretty yummy recipes like this No Bake Frosted Flakes Peanut Butter Cereal Bars Recipe that my kids are head over heels in love with. It not only has their favorite cereal, Frosted Flakes but peanut butter too. Does it get any better than that? lol.
