Prom

Hats off to our third GLHS Prom! Saturday night was a lovely event as students stepped back into the glitz and glamor of the roaring twenties at our Great Gatsby-themed prom. Check out the photos on social media.

    • Home Softball Game vs Middle Creek at 4:30 pm
    • Parent RoundTable: Families - please join us for a Parent Round Table - Talk to Us Tuesday, which is today. Our goal for this discussion is to seek feedback on our school policies including the Student Expectations that were implemented this year. We will offer two ways to join in the discussion - you can join us in person on Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 pm here at Green Level High School or you can join us through Google Meet from 6:30-7:30 pm. Please RSVP at https://tinyurl.com/ParentRoundTable24so we know who to expect - and we will send the Meet link Tuesday morning for our virtual discussion. Wednesday, May 1

    • Decision Day Dounts with Dunkin: Senior are encouraged to come to school early to enjoy a donut and from dunkin Dounuts. The Dunkin Cruiser will be parked by the stadium entrance from 6:30 to 7:25 am. All seniors are encouraged to wear a shirt that represents your journey after high school.
    • Congratulations to the Green Level STUNT team who have won their 3rd consecutive SWAC Championship.Tonight, GLHS will host one the “Regional Playoffs”. Athens Drive vs Sanderson at 5:00 pm and the winner will play GL at 6:00 pm.

Thursday, May 2

    • Last Student Feedback Session: Administration is collaborating with Ms. Beach to talk openly with students during Connectivity about our school. Our open dialogues have ranged in the following topics: Honor Code Policy, Student Expectations, Parking Lot, and Wake Tech (CCP). Please Sign up in All Timely.

Friday, May 3

    • National Honor Society Applications Due
    • Thespian Play Performance at 7:00 pm in the auditorium

Saturday, May 4

    • Round 2 of NCHSAA State Playoffs for Men’s LAX. Time is TBD

AP Exams

This weekend, AP exam students will start to get details regarding their AP exam times, locations, and what to bring/not to bring to exams. The AP Exam window set by CollegeBoard is May 6-17th. Please have your child check their email they used to sign up for AP Classroom - either a personal or school email - so there will be no confusion on the exam dates. We also created an AP Exam Website with up-to-date information that you can access HERE and from Student Services website. Additionally, if your child is taking a digital exam, all students in AP World History, AP US History, AP English Language, AP English Literature and AP Computer Science Principles - they must come to their exam with a CHARGED school-issued Chromebook, updated to version 118 or higher and will be access the test through the BlueBook app. Please make sure your child is in the habit of charging their Chromebook each evening - and access the school WiFi to access all updates. If a student has a question about AP exams, please contact Ms. Roberts, Dean of Students and AP Coordinator at hroberts3@wcpss.net.

Junior Parents: We need YOU!

We are preparing for the Class of 2025 and would like to invite you to our first Senior Activities Committee (SAC) meeting on Wednesday, May 15 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the media center.

Senior Parents

  • FAFSA: About 60% of our seniors completed the FAFSA. If you have any questions or want to know the status of your application, please contact Ms. Mayo at memayo@wcpss.net. Good news-Ms. Mayo contract has been extended through the end of May and she is physically at GLHS on Thursdays.
  • Senior Signs: Purchase online HERE! Purchased signs will be sitting in the front office waiting for pickup. Senior Signs will be available forpurchase & pick up in person at 5:45 pm-6:00 pm & again 7:00-7:15 pm on May 8.
  • Last SAC Meeting for senior parents regarding GRADUATION is on May 8 @ 6-7 pm. This meeting will hold ALL info regarding graduation itself.
  • Need Volunteers: As we wind down the year, we have 3 final events we would covet Senior parents' support for. Sign Ups are below:
