We have the Italians to thank for our love of pasta. It started to become popular in the UK in the 1960s, but has now taken the nation by storm. We all love our pasta. We tend, however, to stick to the tried and tested. And sometimes it’s good to try something a bit different. To that end, I’ve featured a few tasty pasta recipes you might enjoy that you haven’t tried before.

What Is #CookBlogShare?

CookBlogShare is a community for food bloggers to share recipes and foodie posts and generally support the food blogging community. The community is centred around the #CookBlogShare linky.

It is a wonderful way for a wide range of food writers, recipe creators and bloggers to come together and share each other’s recipes.

The linky is now hosted regularly by Sisley fromSew White& Chloe from Feast Glorious Feast. New members are always welcome to join so make sure you invite your other food blogger friends!

Janice atFarmersgirl Kitchen hosted the last linky with this collection of fruit and veg recipes.

Each week the host chooses a selection of recipes to showcase from those submitted during the previous week.

Homemade Vegan Ravioli

Homemade ravioli is a lot easier to make than you might think. There's no special equipment required and it doesn't take heaps of time either. It's so worth it for a special meal. The lentil mushroom filling is a great recipe all on its own and you can use it for all sorts of other recipes as well as a standalone vegan pâté.

Tasty Pasta Recipes From The CookBlogshare Community

Two of the pasta recipes included in this mini round-up are not actually vegetarian, but they are both sausage recipes. This means it’s super simple to substitute either vegetarian or vegan sausages for the ones stated in the recipes.

I’ve also included a recipe which isn’t a pasta recipe as such. In fact, it’s a dip. But I reckon it would make a fantastic pasta sauce, especially served cold as a salad.

Lentil Pasta with Tempeh and Spinach

This lentil pasta with tempeh and spinach recipe is an Italian-style quick high protein meal. Try it for a tasty, healthy entree – plus it’s quick and easy enough to make on a busy weeknight.
